Job Context

Echologyx LTD is looking for a detail-oriented SQA Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will help ensure the quality and performance of our applications through thorough testing and validation. This position offers an excellent opportunity to grow professionally, learn from experienced engineers, and contribute directly to delivering high-quality products.

Job Responsibilities

Develop, execute, and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
Perform functional, regression, integration, and API testing independently.
Identify, document, and track bugs using issue-tracking tools (e.g., JIRA)
Collaborate with developers and product managers to ensure software quality.
Design and implement automated test scripts using Selenium, Playwright or similar tools.
Ensure compliance with software testing standards and best practices.
Participate in Agile/Scrum meetings and provide feedback on potential risks.
Analize test results, troubleshoot issues, and ensure timely resolution.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work smartly with cross-functional teams to deliver bug free products.
Problem-Solving Creativity: Bring creative ideas with a solution-oriented mindset.

Education Required

bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field

Experience Required

Fluency in spoken and written English.
3+ years of experience in software testing, both manual and basic automation.
Solid understanding of SDLC, Agile methodologies, and QA best practices.
Strong experience in Postman (for API testing), JMeter (for performance testing), and JIRA.
Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and Git workflows.
Familiarity with Selenium, Playwright, and scripting languages (e.g., Python)
Experience with QA activities in Agile/Scrum teams and actively participate in ceremonies and planning sessions.

Compensation & Other Benefits

Office Time: 1.30 PM – 10.00 PM
Working days: Monday to Friday
