Role Description

This is a full-time remote position for a Quality Assurance Engineer. In this role, you will be responsible for executing tests, performing manual testing, creating and managing test cases, and ensuring software quality through comprehensive testing. Your daily responsibilities will include working closely with the development team, identifying and reporting defects, and ensuring the final product meets the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases
Identify, document, and track bugs and issues throughout the SDLC
Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to clarify requirements and ensure high-quality releases
Conduct regression, integration, and performance testing
Build and maintain test documentation, test plans, and test reports
Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and standards

Qualifications

Strong experience in test execution, test planning, and software testing methodologies
Proficiency in manual testing, test case design, avnd defect tracking
Experience with QA tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, Postman, TestRail, or similar)
Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (Agile/Scrum preferred)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
Excellent communication and collaboration skills in cross-functional teams
Ability to work independently in a remote environment
Experience with automation testing and frameworks is a plus
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
