Job Title: Software Quality Assurance (SQA) Engineer

The Role:

As a Software Quality Assurance Engineer at Shikho, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our software and products. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify, document, and resolve issues, contributing to the seamless operation of our platform. The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in QA methodologies, testing tools, and automation frameworks, along with a proactive approach to problem-solving and a passion for technology.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
• Perform functional, smoke, sanity, usability, and regression testing on each release.
• Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test cases based on requirements.
• Contribute to the overall automation effort, including test case development and automation framework enhancements.
• Identify and log bugs, working collaboratively with the development team to resolve them.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, effectively prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines.
• Participate in scrum meetings, planning sessions, and scoping activities, ensuring alignment with project goals.
• Continuously learn and adopt new technologies, tools, and techniques, and ensure knowledge transfer within the team.
• Conduct API testing and ensure system robustness across all integrations.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Graduation in Computer Science & Engineering from a reputed university

• At least 2 to 3 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance

• Strong understanding of SDLC, software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Proven experience with UI automation frameworks such as Cypress or Selenium WebDriver.
• Proficiency in testing tools like TestNG or JUnit, and expertise in API automation frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with performance testing tools like Gatling or JMeter.
• Familiarity with the Agile development process and project management tools like JIRA or Azure DevOps.
• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP), Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js, and HTML/CSS.
• Experience working with relational databases, preferably MS SQL Server.
• Basic knowledge of version control systems (Git, Bitbucket, SVN).
• A proactive, self-starting attitude with the ability to work independently and efficiently.
