About
the QA Engineer II Role:
The QA
Engineer II will be responsible for the creation of tests to identify issues
with software before the product launch.In this role, this person will identify
and analyze any bugs and errors found during the test phase, and document them
for review. The person will collaborate with software developers to fix
program issues.
About
the QA Engineer II Responsibilities:
- Creates tests
to identify software problems and deficiencies.
- Analyzes bugs and
errors found during tests.
- Documents
results of tests for the software development team.
- Recommends
improvements in software to enhance user experience.
- Motivates the
development process for efficiency and performance.
- Investigate
product quality to make improvements to achieve better customer
satisfaction.
- Works
together with the software developers to enhance and improve programs.
- Plans creates, and manages the overall Quality Planning strategy.
- Researches
and compares similar competitor products.
- Oversees
continuous improvement projects.
- Collects
quality data.
- Identifies
key KPIs for product quality.
- Maintains
updated knowledge of industry trends and advancements.
- Collaborates
with the development team to understand project requirements and ensure
clear communication throughout the testing process.
- Develops
and executes comprehensive test plans and test cases.
- Conducts
thorough manual and automated testing to identify defects, usability
issues, and
Performance bottlenecks.
- Works
closely with the development team to report and track bugs using project
management tools.
- Continuously
improves the QA process and implements industry best practices for
software testing.
- Conducts
regression testing and ensures the stability of the applications after each
release.
- Prepares
Automation Scripts in need of project demand and reduces the man-hours
required for higher quality assurance.
- Executes
end-to-end functional tests and utilizes automated tests to exercise the
system.
- Monitors
all projects' quality status and progress from a broad perspective and
adjusts
personnel assignments and schedules according to the situation.
- Must
be able to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
- Performs
other related duties as required.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Preferably 3 to
5 years of experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer.
- Experience with
a variety of different testing techniques such as UI Testing, Automated
Testing, Test Driven Development Strategies and others.
- Expertise
in modern JavaScript Libraries & Frameworks (React.js, Redux.js,
Node.js,
Express.js).
- Experienced
with AWS APIs (Lambda, SQS, S3).
- Experience
with web security technology.
- Experience
with software QA tools and processes.
- Extensive
experience in software development and testing.
- Strong
knowledge of Linux and Microsoft Windows.
- Good
time-management skills.
- Exceptional
attention to detail.
- Excellent
analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Great
interpersonal and communication skills.
- Great
team player and able to work efficiently with minimal supervision.
- Must be
willing to travel if needed.
- Must be
willing to work extended hours if needed.
- Valid
work authorization is required.
