Manual QA (Software Tester) - ClimateTech (Carbon Accounting) - Remote - Start-Up - English Speaking

The main aim is to establish itself as the global software backbone that provides the seamless operation of freshly imposed financial carbon border taxes, overcoming a significant barrier that pushes us ever closer to the decarbonization of global heavy carbon-emitting industries.

We are currently seeking a Manual QA individual to join our dynamic & young team. As a QA Software Tester, you will play a crucial role in the manual testing of our cutting-edge software.

Requirements:

- Information technology background – 1-2 years spent in ideally SaaS-oriented Software

Development teams. That can be as a manual tester, junior technical PM/PO, technical

support or so.

- Detail-oriented, proactive, communicative, collaborative attitude.

- Ability to provide clear, actionable feedback, i.e. clear and to-the-point interactions.

- Some past experience in sw development team workflows, including working with

lightweight PM tools Jira, Confluence, Notion.

- Basic understanding of modern sw stack (backend, frontend, API, deployment,

staging etc.) is needed.

- Good sense to distinguish business priorities from nitpicking.

- Good intuition for data and anomalies.

- Experience running regression tests is a plus.

- Experience in Blackbox and Whitebox testing of SaaS cloud applications is a plus.

- Experience with some kind of test automation framework is a bonus.
