Job Description: The Keysight R&D center in Gurgaon/Bangalore, India needs a Software QA R&D Engineer for EDA Software testing and quality assurance on Keysight EDA software. The Software QA Engineer will test Keysight software solutions using the Agile Software Development Model. The engineer will use a wide array of test techniques, tools, and methodologies to perform a quality check on EDA products enabling Keysight's HSD solutions.

Responsibilities Key

Responsibilities will include: -

• Validation and qualification of Keysight EDA tools like ADS in terms of Functionality/Usability/Reliability/Performance and Supportability.
• Create and execute QA plans during SDLC
• Capture design flow breakages in the customer design flow during the software development cycle.
• Capture limitations of software in designing applications and improvements needed in the tool
• Part of Agile Scrum team, focusing on delivering on Sprint tasks and goals.
• Develop and enhance automated test frameworks and test suits
• Participate in the Early Access/Beta testing program. Interact and Support customers during the program to understand customer issues. Getting customer issues addressed.
• Practice Speed, Focus, and Accountability at all time
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry developments, standards, and regulations

 ***Essentials Skills: -

• Bachelor's or master’s degree in ECE/EEE/CS or equivalent degree
• 8-15 years’ experience in EDA Software QA testing or Software Automation domain
• Knowledge of scripting programming languages like Python, Shell
• Proven skills in the creation of automation test framework/harness to automate new product/feature development
• Knowledge of DevSecOps (CI/CD Pipelines, Jenkins, etc)
• Knowledge of Software development tools (Git/bitbucket, MS Visual Studio, Atlassian tools)
• Understand functional testing, smoke testing, performance, load testing, security testing, API testing and end-to-end testing
• Passion for continuing education and improving code quality through interaction with the development team.
• Knowledge of “Agile” software development methodology.

• Strong Logical & analytical abilities
• Self-motivated and self-organized
• Excellent team player, responsive and accountable
• Good written and communication skills
• Excellent knowledge of high-speed design boards in simulation scenarios using Keysight ADS or similar EDA software (Desired)
