We are looking for a QA Engineer to join our Product team.
As a QA Engineer, you'll be responsible for ensuring the quality of our
system's quality and facilitating agile processes and ceremonies. You'll work
closely with the development team to identify, report, and track issues, as
well as collaborate with other Scrum team members to ensure timely resolution.
You will have the opportunity to serve as a Scrum Master, helping the team to
implement agile processes, improve efficiency and develop management skills.
This role requires an understanding of testing methodologies
and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Manual
testing: Web and Mobile (native).
- Estimation
of testing efforts for the project.
- API
Testing.
- Provide
clear and accurate reporting on testing progress and results.
- Design
and execute test plans and cases to ensure product quality.
- Mentor
other QA team members.
- Collaborate
with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize defects and provide
feedback on usability, functionality, and performance.
- Analyze
automated test results.
- Perform
investigative testing to determine possible causes of issues.
- Ensure
that the software meets both functional and non-functional requirements.
- Communicate
quality status to stakeholders and management.
Requirements
- **2+**
years of commercial experience in software testing.
- Solid
experience in Web testing is a must
- Proven
experience in API testing and familiarity with Postman and SoapUI.
- Ability
to read and analyze logs to troubleshoot issues
- Understanding
of client-server architecture and microservices.
- Experience
with CI/CD processes and tools.
- Excellent
analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Must
be passion for being QA advocate to raise the bar for
better quality gates
- Strong
attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent
written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong
understanding of QA Processes.
- Self-motivated,
fast learner, and good level of analytical and troubleshooting skills
are a must
- Ability
to multi-task, prioritize, and be able to work on your initiative
- Experience
working in an Agile/Scrum development process.
- English
Upper Intermediate (**spoken is a must**).
- Hands-on
experience with SQL and experience in querying databases is a must
- Possession
of Foundation ISTQB certification is nice to have
