Job Title: QA Engineer

Astha IT produces solutions for globally prominent names like Transcom Group, University of Hawaii, MIT, SaaS Ventures, Meriton Australia (a Fortune-500 company) and the United States Department of Defense (DoD).

Job Requirements:

– Developing and executing comprehensive manual and automated test cases and scenarios to ensure features align with functional requirements.

– Possessing foundational and advanced knowledge of automated test scripts to validate various application functionalities using Python-based frameworks like Selenium with Pytest.

– Creating and maintaining test metrics to accurately assess software quality and performance.

– Conducting thorough performance testing to ensure product scalability and stability before release.

– Performing API testing.

– Preparing detailed documentation of issues, including bug reports with severity levels, resolution statuses, and reproducible steps.

– Identifying, reporting, and tracking defects while providing in-depth information for effective issue resolution.

– Collaborating closely with designers, developers, and product managers to ensure consistency in design and accuracy in content.

– Staying informed of industry best practices and emerging trends in software testing to continuously improve QA processes.

Technical Skill Requirements:

– A minimum of 3 years of experience in software testing and quality assurance.

– Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, techniques, and tools.

– Demonstrated expertise in test automation using Python-based frameworks, particularly Selenium with Pytest.

– Familiarity with Docker virtualization to streamline testing processes.

– Demonstrated ability to meticulously review design mockups and content implementations, identifying even the smallest discrepancies.

– Expertise in performance and load testing to ensure the system’s robustness.

– Exceptional attention to detail, with a strong ability to evaluate and improve the overall user experience.

– Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills to assess complex systems and workflows.

– Strong proficiency in English communication skills (both written and verbal).

Academic Requirements:

Not much. If you can fulfill the aforementioned skill requirements, we don’t care about the academic backgrounds. Your skills matter. Certificates and CGPA are secondary.

But if you have a degree (Bachelors or Masters) in CS / CSC / CSE / Software Engineering, it’s a plus of course.

All we need from you is a super-hungry learning habit and a geeky-techie spirit.

If you have a strong portfolio of complex applications/software/tools that you worked on, that would be terrific.

Experience Requirements:

3 – 5 years.

Monthly Salary:

BDT. 70,000 – 1,20,000.
