The impact of the role: 

As a Junior QA Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality and operability of our applications. Collaborating closely with developers, product teams, and other QA professionals, you’ll contribute to delivering robust, high-quality solutions that meet user needs.

On a given day, an Junior QA Engineer will:

• Collaborate with the development team to design, implement and execute test approaches on the system
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using tools like Cypress, Selenium, or similar.
• Perform manual and automated testing on multi-component systems, including front-end interfaces, APIs, and third-party services.
• Validate customer requirements and communicate any issues to the development and product teams.
• Document testing processes, user journeys, and outcomes.
• Assist in integrating automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline.
• Analyze test results to identify and troubleshoot issues.
• Promote continuous improvement by learning new technologies and sharing feedback

In order to be successful in this role you will need:

• A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Basic programming skills in Java, JavaScript, Python, or similar languages.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Basic database management concepts (SQL, NoSQL).
• Experience in designing flowcharts
• Basic bash scripting skills.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
• Curiosity, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn new technologies.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
• Fluency in English, as we are a multinational company.

Nice-to-have:

• Experience or familiarity with manual and automated testing tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or Appium.
• Understanding of API Testing and related tools like Postman/Newman.
• Relevant academic projects or internships in software testing.
