Job Title: Backend QA Engineer

Our team is working on providing a quality assurance for a set of services that support the company’s operational activities starting from the gaming platform itself, back-offices, APIs and ending with our websites. We are a team that is working towards step-by-step improvement of our job processes.

We are looking for a team member who would be able to perform manual testing of web interfaces and API methods.

We work remotely, formal meetings are kept to a minimum - one stand-up per week, and the rest according to the work needs. Our focus is the balance between product quality and results for the business, to maintain the project’s long-term sustainability and the team’s great mood in the process.

We strive to deliver a product that we can be proud of :)

- 2 years of experience in manual testing;

- Experience with web and API testing, functional testing;

- Decent level of experience-based testing;

- Understanding of HTTP protocol and client-server architecture;

- Experience with browser developer tools;

- Ability to create technical documentation, bug reports, and test cases;

- Intermediate+ level of written English;

- Desire to develop automation skills would be a plus.

Responsibilities

- UI/UX/functionality testing of our web interfaces (focus on functionality);

- API methods testing;

- Test cases and technical documentation writing;

- Reporting bugs/creating tasks to development teams;

- Collaboration with team members on different work aspects.

Technology stack

- Jira and Confluence;

- Testrail/Testmo;

- Postman (POST/GET requests understanding, URL structure), Swagger;

- Browser developer tools (Chrome DevTools, etc);

- Kibana.
