Job Title: Trainee QA Engineer

Job Responsibilities:

Assist in designing and executing test cases for software applications to ensure functionality, reliability, and performance.

Perform manual testing on web and mobile applications, identifying bugs and defects.

Participate in test case reviews and provide feedback to improve test coverage and effectiveness.

Report defects found during testing, tracking them through resolution in the bug tracking system.

Collaborate with developers and other team members to identify issues and ensure quality standards are met.

Learn and apply testing methodologies, processes, and tools as per company standards.

Support the automation team in learning and developing automated test scripts (if applicable).

Assist with regression testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and other types of testing as required.

Maintain detailed documentation of test results and assist in preparing reports for management.

Requirements:

A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Basic understanding of software development processes and methodologies.

Familiarity with manual testing techniques and tools.

Knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.

Understanding of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) and QA methodologies.

Preferred Qualification:

Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.

A desire to learn and grow in the field of quality assurance.

Good communication skills, both verbal and written.

Ability to work collaboratively within a team.

Strong problem-solving skills.

Adaptable to new challenges and a fast-paced environment.

Working Day: 05 days weekly.
