About the Role:
As a Test Automation Engineer, you will be actively engaged in tasks that intertwine product testing, product development, and DevOps initiatives, including the development of our App Repository. This role will focus on automating the testing of application installations and updates across diverse environments, ensuring seamless deployment and functionality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform and automate product testing
- Support existing and developing new automation scripts
- Create virtual test environments
- Work on the creation, population, and maintenance of third-party repositories to keep them up-to-date
- Participate in the preparation and support of releases
- Collaborate with the development team
- Create and document bug reports in the bug tracker
Qualifications:
- Experience in designing and developing REST APIs
- Ability to use developer consoles (DevTools in browsers)
- Proficiency in API testing tools
- Strong knowledge and experience in Selenium or Playwright, XPath, CSS selectors.
- Excellent knowledge of Python, JavaScript, PowerShell, Bash
- Familiarity with IDE tools
- Knowledge of SQL and understanding of database principles
- Understanding of the software development process
Preferred Qualifications:
- Windows OS, MacOS, Linux experience
- Understanding of the principles of application installation and upgrading
- Ability to work with software installers through the command-line interface (CLI)
