What you’ll do:

• Lead the planning, design, and execution of manual and automated test strategies.
• Drive the software quality assurance lifecycle within the Agile process.
• Establish and coordinate test strategies with development/product teams.
• Maintain high-quality standards through effective test coverage and documentation.
• Implement scalable test automation frameworks and drive automation strategy.
• Lead load and stress testing initiatives, identifying system bottlenecks.
• Use monitoring tools to track application performance and identify improvement areas.
• Ensure tests cover interactions with both SQL (Postgres) and NoSQL (MongoDB) databases, simulating real-world data usage scenarios.
• Ensure security testing aligns with best practices, utilizing tools such as OWASP/ZAP to identify vulnerabilities.
• Utilize CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing and integration.
• Manage meetings, set goals, provide feedback on testing tasks, and delegate testing responsibilities.
• Ensure adherence to SQA best practices and processes across all projects.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and ensure alignment on quality goals.
• Mentor and guide team members in technical and process-related areas, promote best practices and support professional growth. 

Skills & Experiences You’ll Need To Have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in SQA, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and agile methodologies.
• Ability to multi-task, proactive in project planning and requirements gathering.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a focus on delivering high-quality products.
• Effective communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams.
• Proficiency in test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, RestAssured), scripting languages (e.g., Java, Python).
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Google Cloud Platform (GCP)), Kubernetes, and testing cloud-native applications.
• Experience with Security testing, and monitoring tools (e.g., Grafana, New Relic).
• Expertise in load testing (e.g., JMeter, K6).
• Experience automating tests for microservices architectures, including interaction with event-driven systems like Kafka and RabbitMQ.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, CircleCI, GitLab CI) and integrating test automation within these workflows.
• Proven experience with testing complex data flows involving Postgres, MongoDB, and NoSQL databases.
• Knowledge of CQRS and event sourcing principles and their impact on testing strategies.
• Having experience in ERP system testing is a plus.
