Job Description

exaBase Studio is a no-code development environment that integrates the multiple AI that we have accumulated over the years and enables the design and development of data processing required for business. exaBase Studio is a web application with a highly interactive UI, including a canvas function that enables real-time collaborative editing. The application is available in a variety of languages and because the alpha version of exaBase Studio is now complete, Quality Assurance is needed to ensure that exaBase Studio can run various environments, settings, and setups in the future.

 Qualifications (Required)

• 3+ years’ experience testing web systems (designing/implementing tests, test management, optimizing tests) and creating/coding automated testing (ex: Espresso, XCUITest, PlayWright)
• Experience in containers and container orchestration: NGINX, Docker, Kubernetes.
• Solid understanding of Quality Assurance principles and methodologies.
• Ability to work closely with the development team on the design and implementation of new features and libraries for automation frameworks.
• Ability to articulate vision and manage deliverables.
• Strong Communication and leadership skills with the ability to communicate with all levels of the organization:
• Business-level English and conversational Japanese OR Business-level Japanese and at least reading and writing capabilities for English

Qualifications (Welcome)

• 3+ years of hands-on software development experience using any language
• Background in computer science or a related field
• Project management skills
• Product and service development experience
• Experience working in a startup environment
• Understanding of machine learning frameworks (Scipy/Numpy, Scikit-Learn, Pandas, Tensorflow/Keras/PyTorch)
• Understanding of machine learning models in a business environment (linear regression, ensemble learning, boosting, RNN, CNN, GCN, GAN, etc.)
• Strong initiative in a business setting to lead a team/organization

We are looking for an exceptional Senior Platform QA Engineer (in Test) to support and develop exabase Studio. You will be focused on solving challenging frameworks, scalability & stability problems that will enable the company to deliver a product at high scale without compromising on quality, velocity, and coding standards. The ideal candidate will have expertise in building reliable and robust test automation frameworks for both front-end and back-end applications. They will also have interest, background, and experience in DevOps, infrastructure as code, build automation, tooling, and release engineering. The candidate should also be passionate about providing world-class customer service with a sharp focus on automating, deploying, and managing a reliable, robust, high-quality software CI/CD pipeline infrastructure and their associated services. Lastly, they should have experience working on large-scale software development within complex multi-platform environments and in-depth knowledge of infrastructure such as code, build and release automation, tooling, and services (Jenkins, Artifactory, Git) & latest container technologies (Kubernetes, Docker) If the candidate does not have the ideal expertise nor experience, don’t worry, as long as the candidate is passionate about gaining the above expertise and experience we will also welcome such candidates.
