Position: Software Quality Assurance (SQA) Engineer

Job Context: We seek energetic individuals with good Quality Assurance and Quality Control knowledge. The person will stimulate our team development and bring creative and innovative ideas to Software Testing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute comprehensive test cases, plans, and scripts for mobile applications (iOS).
• Perform both manual and automated testing to identify software defects and ensure high-quality releases.
• Report and track bugs to ensure they are resolved before deployment.
• Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and designers to uphold the highest quality standards.
• Conduct performance, security, usability, and regression testing to ensure app stability.
• Validate functionality across various iOS devices and operating system versions.
• Assist in maintaining thorough test documentation, including test cases and reports.
• Continuously monitor and improve testing processes to ensure greater efficiency.
• Research and recommend new tools, techniques, and best practices to enhance the QA process.
• Identify, analyze, and report flaws or issues discovered during testing.
• Communicate progress and challenges with team members, and collaborate with other designers, developers, and product management.
• Stay updated with new testing tools, trends, and industry developments.
• Create detailed, comprehensive, and structured test reports and test cases.
• Report daily progress to the Product Management team on testing schedules and results.
• Encourage process improvements to increase productivity and efficiency.

Educational Requirements:

- Bachelor of Science (BSc) in CSE

Additional Requirements:

• 0 to 1 year of experience as an SQA Engineer.
• Basic understanding of manual and automated testing methodologies.
• Familiarity with bug-tracking tools such as JIRA, Trello, etc.
• Knowledge of mobile app testing (iOS) is a plus.
• Experience with automation tools like Selenium, and Appium (preferred but not mandatory).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Exceptional attention to detail and proactive attitude.
• Basic knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (Java, C++, Python).
• Understanding of SDLC phases and testing methodologies.
• Working knowledge of JIRA or similar bug-tracking tools.
• Familiarity with different programming languages and logic.
