Who are we looking for?

We are looking for dynamic individuals having the following qualities:

Educational Requirements

Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science or Equivalent, (B. Tech) in CS, IT or ECE or equivalent.

Experience Requirements

Minimum five (5) years of industry experience.

Overview of the Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases in an Agile Scrum Framework.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites for the front-end / backend application.
• Conduct regression testing and install/upgrade testing during the regression phase.
• Analyze test failures to identify root causes and collaborate with the development team for resolution.
• Interact with product teams and stakeholders to understand testing requirements, provide updates, and highlight issues.
• Apply domain, system, and process knowledge to establish QA processes that ensure high standards throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Create project estimates and contribute to the design of new product functionality.
• Identify and discuss challenges, risks, and mitigation plans with managers and technical leads.
• Participate actively in Agile Scrum meetings, including refinement and planning sessions.
• Mentor and guide junior QA engineers, promoting continuous improvement and professional development.
• Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders to gather requirements and provide updates.
• Should have positive attitude to meet the project/release deadline.

Key Requirements

• Minimum five (5) years of industry experience in software quality assurance.
• Hands on knowledge building framework by using opensource such as Selenium/WebdriverIO and Java/JavaScript or Python.
• Hands on knowledge of Microservices component and integration testing. Working proficiency on tools such as Postman or any other suitable opensource API testing tool.
• Practical knowledge on implementing BDD approaches inside an Agile environment.
• Proficiency in writing noSQL, SQL queries and understanding database management specially the RDMS.
• Experience with test and defect/project management tools such as Jira, and Azure DevOps.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong programming, debugging, and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to function effectively in a high-pressure and demanding environment.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Nice To Have Requirements

• Certification in relevant QA methodologies or tools is a plus.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
