What You’ll Do:

• Collaborate with software/product designers to understand requirements and contribute to the creation of comprehensive test plans.
• Analyze and document extensive test cases based on specified requirements.
• Prepare test scenarios, test scripts, test cases, and test reports.
• Execute various types of testing, including Sanity, Functional, Integration, and Regression testing, to ensure product quality and stability.
• Ensure test coverage for interactions with both SQL (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB) databases, simulating real-world data usage scenarios.
• Automate database testing workflows to streamline validation of data integrity and consistency.
• Perform regression testing to detect defects caused by recent application changes.
• Ensure test execution within the agreed timeline, using tools and techniques specified by the Test/Project Lead.
• Maintain proper documentation of test deliverables, including test cases, RTM, defect reports, and test metrics, ensuring minimal or no review comments.
• Develop automation solutions for both functional and non-functional testing, ensuring scalability and reliability.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web, mobile, and API testing using tools such as Selenium, CyPress, Python, TestNG, and RestAssured.
• Conduct load and performance testing using tools like JMeter, K6, identifying system bottlenecks.
• Continuously enhance automation frameworks to improve efficiency, test coverage, and maintainability.
• Work closely with engineers and project leads to triage and prioritize issues for resolution.
• Mentor and guide junior team members to strengthen the overall capability of the SQA team.

Skills & Experiences You’ll Need To Have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance, with a strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Hands-on experience in both manual and automated testing.
• Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies is preferred.
• Experience in testing complex data flows involving PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and NoSQL databases.
• Strong knowledge of SQL queries, data analysis, and database testing.
• Ability to work independently and handle complex tasks with minimal supervision.
• Experience in ERP system testing is a plus.
• Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and Kubernetes, with experience testing in cloud platforms, preferably Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Proven ability to design and implement test automation frameworks for web, API, and database testing.
• Experience in API testing using tools such as Postman and RestAssured.
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages: Java, Python, C++, or JavaScript.
• Experience in load and performance testing using tools like JMeter and K6.
• Eagerness to learn and stay updated with the latest technologies in software testing.
• Strong problem-solving skills and keen attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
