Job Title: Senior QA Engineer

DataArt is hiring Senior QA Engineer

Client: Our client is a global music and entertainment conglomerate headquartered in the US.

• Project overview: Our client provides platforms that help streamline music rights management, digital distribution, and data-driven decision-making for artists, labels, and content creators worldwide.
• You’ll be part of a distributed Agile team, contributing to the quality of solutions used by some of the biggest names in the industry.

• Position overview: We’re looking for someone passionate about quality, with strong analytical skills, experience testing complex systems, and attention to detail.
• The estimated salary range for this position is up to 135,000 USD per year.
• The working time is from 9 AM to 6 PM PST.

• Responsibilities: Analyze and clarify requirements and documentation
• Create and support test cases, checklists, and test documentation
• Perform manual testing of APIs, data flows, and web interfaces
• Participate in exploratory and regression testing
• Log defects clearly and track them through resolution
• Collaborate closely with developers, QA peers, analysts, and DevOps engineers
• Take part in regular releases and team ceremonies

• 5+ years of experience in software testing
• Good understanding of QA methodologies, types of testing, and SDLC
• Experience working with REST APIs (Postman, Swagger, or similar)
• Hands-on experience with client-server systems
• Familiarity with tools like Jira, TestRail (or equivalents)
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

• Nice to have: Financial/Accounting background
• Experience with SAP
• Experience with relational databases
• Understanding of CI/CD and cloud environments
