Job Title: Senior Automation QA Engineer

We’re looking for a Backend Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team. In this role, you’ll collaborate with software engineers to uphold the quality of our backend systems. You’ll help plan and execute test strategies, design and develop test scenarios, and perform both automated and manual testing. With your keen eye for detail and strong problem-solving skills, you’ll play a key role in identifying issues and ensuring the delivery of reliable, high-quality software.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality assurance, with a focus on backend applications.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, or Node.js.
• Experience with test automation frameworks and tools (e.g., Selenium, Playwright).
• Strong understanding of CI/CD practices and tools.
• Familiarity with cloud-based microservices architecture (e.g., AWS) and associated challenges.
• Experience with containerization and observability tools.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
• Fluency in English.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Collaborate with software engineers to ensure appropriate levels of test automation are implemented.
• Design and implement test plans and test cases for backend applications.
• Develop and execute automated tests using tools like Selenium, Playwright, or similar.
• Enhance and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
• Work closely with product managers and stakeholders to clarify requirements and verify test coverage.
• Identify, document, and report bugs in a structured manner using tools like Jira.
• Prepare and maintain test environments to mirror production for accurate testing.
• Promote best practices in quality assurance and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Helping recruit and mentor engineers for our growing team in Vietnam.

Compensation

• The maximum monthly gross salary for this position is 70 million VND. Final offers will be based on experience and alignment with the role's requirements.
