 Job Responsibilities

Job Overview

We are looking for a proactive QA Engineer (Automation) with the maturity to handle full sprint planning, work beyond assigned tasks, and tackle complex challenges under tight deadlines. This role involves designing and executing automated test scripts to ensure the quality and reliability of our applications.

 Key Responsibilities

•  Develop and execute test cases for web and mobile applications, ensuring functional and regression coverage.
• Build and maintain automation frameworks using Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, or similar tools.
• Conduct UI, API (Postman, SoapUI), and basic performance testing (JMeter).
• Identify, document, and track defects in JIRA while collaborating closely with developers.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, contributing to sprint planning and quality strategies.
• Enhance QA processes, introduce best practices, and explore emerging automation tools.
• Work independently in a fast-paced environment, ensuring timely defect resolution and seamless releases.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 2-4 years in software testing with expertise in manual and automation testing.
• Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, test frameworks, DOM manipulation, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to manage sprint execution autonomously.
• Experience handling multiple priorities while maintaining high-quality standards.
