About the role

As a Quality Assurance Engineer at Yodeck, you will be working closely with our talented teams of engineers to contribute to strengthening the software quality of our product. You will be part of the Agile teams, driving the design, implementation, and maintenance of tests that check the end-to-end functionality and quality per product increment.

The ideal candidate has proven experience in Software Testing and Web Services Testing Tools and a good understanding of end-to-end software testing life cycle. Some knowledge on performance testing and good SQL command is also considered a plus.

Responsibilities

• Creating and executing automated, well-structured test cases for new features and regression testing
• Creating and maintaining the web app’s E2E tests suite, using industry best practices and tools
• Participating in scrum ceremonies
• Collaborating with developers and product managers to understand requirements and create comprehensive test plans.
• Writing detailed bug reports and working closely with the development team to resolve issues.
• Performing exploratory testing to identify potential issues that automated tests may miss.
• Ensuring the testing environment is properly configured and maintained.
• Tracking and analyzing test results, and providing insights to improve product quality.
• Maintaining documentation of test cases, test plans, and test results.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of working experience as QA Engineer in a technological environment
• Being comfortable with working on software testing technologies
• Ability to develop simple/medium test scripts, search in logs, execute simple SQL for data setup or data search.
• Competency in Quality Assurance concepts: test planning, test case design, test case prioritization, test case execution, bug reporting & tracking
• Familiarity with a test automation framework (eg. playwright, selenium, cypress)
• Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills combined with self-motivation
• Basic experience with HTML and Javascript is required, while knowledge of Python and Django will be considered a strong plus
• Excellent command of English and Greek language, verbal and written
