About the Role:
The QA role is critical in ensuring the delivery of high-quality, reliable software that meets user expectations and business requirements. We are hiring QA Engineer to strengthen our team, maintain high standards, and ensure smooth, error-free product releases in an increasingly competitive market.
Your Responsibilities:
- Test
Case Design and Execution: Develop comprehensive test cases based on
functional and technical specifications, ensuring full coverage of
application requirements and features.
- Defect
Identification and Reporting: Accurately identify, document, and
report software defects in a clear and concise manner, working closely
with developers to resolve issues promptly.
- Regression
Testing: Perform thorough regression testing to ensure that new code
changes do not adversely impact existing functionalities.
- Cross-Browser
and Platform Testing: Conduct rigorous testing across multiple
browsers, operating systems, and devices to ensure a consistent user
experience.
- Performance
Testing (Basic): Execute basic performance tests to identify
bottlenecks and ensure the application meets performance benchmarks.
- Documentation:
Maintain detailed test plans, reports, and related documentation to
ensure traceability and support ongoing quality assurance efforts.
Skills & Experience:
- Strong
Attention to Detail: A meticulous approach to identifying even the
smallest inconsistencies or issues, ensuring product quality and
reliability.
- Root
Cause Analysis Expertise: Proficient in analyzing complex problems to
uncover their underlying causes, enabling effective solutions and process
improvements.
- Test
Case Creation & Execution: Skilled in designing comprehensive test
cases and scenarios to ensure thorough testing of all functionalities,
including edge cases.
- Proficiency
with Testing Tools: Experienced in using tools such as Postman for API
testing and basic automation frameworks like Playwright to optimize
testing workflows.
- Bug
Tracking and Reporting: Adept at documenting bugs with clarity and
precision, leveraging tools like JIRA to ensure efficient tracking,
prioritization, and resolution.
- Effective
Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication
abilities to collaborate with cross-functional teams and articulate
technical details to stakeholders.
