Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Create and communicate test reports, status, and testing information to the project team and project manager
- Ability to take ownership of all manual testing tasks
- Ability to understand Software Design Specifications
- Ability to create boundary value, positive, and negative test cases
- Ability to test web, mobile, and cloud applications
Basic Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in software testing
- Knowledge of agile methodologies, SCRUM, and agile testing life cycles
Requirements:
- Knowledge of issue tracking tools (JIRA & TFS will be preferable)
- Knowledge of OOP, data structures, and algorithms
- Knowledge of automation tools is a plus
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
- Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases
- Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing
- Solid knowledge of SQL and scripting
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
- Experience with performance and/or security testing is a plus
