Kaseya is hiring QA Engineer

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

As a QA Engineer (RMM) at Kaseya, you will be a key member of our quality assurance team, specializing in the testing processes for our Remote Monitoring and Management (RMM) solutions. You will be working on QA for the Datto RMM product. Your expertise in test will play a critical role in ensuring the high-quality and reliability of our cutting-edge IT management products.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Collaborate with Product Managers, Developers, Operations and QA team members to understand product features and requirements

· Design, develop, and execute tests to ensure product quality

· Investigate test failures, troubleshoot issues, and report defects clearly and accurately

· Document and communicate test results, contributing to overall quality metrics

· Identify opportunities to expand test coverage and improve quality

· Participate in release processes and ensure quality standards are met for assigned projects

WHAT YOU’LL BRING:

Essential Qualifications:

· A bachelor's degree in computer science, Electronics, Management Information Systems or Software Engineering; or equivalent work experience

· Familiarity with frontend (UI), API, and backend system components

· Knowledge of web applications, particularly those built with Angular or React

· Understanding of test phases, approaches and strategies.

· Proven ability to build, execute, and maintain test scripts

· Hands on experience in software quality assurance with the ability to read understand code & verify acceptance criteria.

· Experience working in an Agile environment.

· Strong skills in analysing test results and reporting test outcomes

· Excellent communication and a proactive, collaborative mindset

· Experience with tools like JIRA, Confluence, and Zephyr Scale (or equivalents)

· Working knowledge of multiple operating systems, including Windows, macOS, and Linux

· Strong problem solving and analytical skills.

Desirable Skills:

· Experience testing APIs (REST, GraphQL) using tools like Postman, Ready API, SoapUI, or Swagger

· Scripting experience with Python, PowerShell, or Bash

· Experience with version control systems like GitHub, GitLab, or similar

· Understanding of automated test frameworks (e.g. Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, JUnit, TestNG, Robot)

· Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automation in development workflows

· Understanding of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS) and virtual machines

· Experience with remote access/control tools such as TeamViewer

· Background in Agile development environments

· Formal testing certifications (e.g., ISTQB)

· Awareness of security best practices in software testing

· Basic understanding of networking and network protocols

· Knowledge of AI tools such as GitHub Copilot
