Job Title: QA ENGINEER

Overview

We have an exciting opportunity for a QA Engineer who is experienced in Functional and Automation Testing. The Quality Engineer will work closely with Project Management, Quality Assurance, and Development teams on multiple, multi-faceted projects from creation to completion. They will conduct highly complex quality assurance tests and analyses to ensure that the software meets or exceeds specified standards and end-user requirements. They will perform technical and/or in-depth advanced development and execution of test cases, and coordinate with and work within a team of quality engineers.

You will work with a hugely diverse range of sports organizations that are looking to transform their digital landscape. You will help them overcome challenges and deliver truly leading-edge, flexible, fit-for-purpose membership and event management solutions.

What you will do:

• Work with the product team to understand requirements, design comprehensive test plans and test cases.
• Develop and execute test cases and test plans to validate software functionality and performance.
• Create automated tests for the test cases, and manually test software for which automation is not available yet.
• Collaborate with developers to reproduce and troubleshoot reported issues.
• Conduct functional, regression, performance, and user acceptance testing to identify and report defects, ensuring timely bug resolution.
• Perform root cause analysis to identify and address the underlying causes of defects and quality issues.
• Establish and track quality assurance metrics and report to the management
• Evaluate and apply open source or commercial test tools 
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate testing activities into the CI/CD pipelines, enabling continuous testing and deployment.
• Develop quality assurance standards and company processes. 
• Adhere to industry quality and safety standards.

Who you are:

• You are highly technical and curious.
• You have excellent English skills – both spoken and written.
• You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• You have at least 2 years of QA and testing experience.
• You have experience with Cypress, Selenium, or other similar automation tools (an added advantage).
• You are familiar with Agile methodology and the Scrum framework.
• You have experience with test design techniques.
• You can write and maintain test cases and review requirements and test cases.
• You have experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD tools.
• You have a clear understanding of SQL queries.
• You have performance or security testing experience (an added advantage).
• You possess strong analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
• You are passionate about testing and continuous improvement and strive to keep things as simple as possible.

• Salary – 40-60K BDT (Monthly)
• 30 days yearly leave  (25 days casual and 5 days sick leave)
