Job Title: Manual QA Analyst

Position Overview

We are looking for a Manual QA Analyst with strong expertise in the accounting and finance domain. In this role, you will manage the entire testing lifecycle for product features, ensuring accuracy, stability, and compliance across both business and accounting modules. The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience in manual testing and a solid understanding of accounting workflows to validate critical features, perform regression testing, and uphold product quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and execute end-to-end manual testing for all system features, including accounting modules.

•  Perform regression, sanity, and smoke testing for each release.
•  Translate business and accounting requirements into detailed, executable test cases.
•  Validate financial calculations, reporting, reconciliations, and workflows against accounting standards.
•  Maintain and update comprehensive test documentation (test plans, test cases, regression checklists).
•  Identify, log, and track defects clearly, ensuring timely resolution with developers.
•  Collaborate with product managers, developers, and accountants to ensure alignment on requirements.
•  Proactively identify gaps or inconsistencies in requirements or implementation.  Support UAT (User Acceptance Testing) with accounting and business teams.

• 3–5 years of manual QA experience, preferably in finance, accounting, or ERP systems.
•  Strong knowledge of accounting concepts (ledgers, invoices, reconciliations, financial reporting)
•  Proven ability to design and execute regression and sanity test suites.
•  Skilled in documenting and maintaining test plans, test cases, and defect reports.
•  Experience working with Jira (or similar tools) for issue tracking and test management.  Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
•  Strong communication skills to explain issues in both business and technical language.

Nice To have

• Background in accounting or finance (degree or professional experience).  Experience testing ERP, financial software, or accounting systems.

•  Familiarity with SQL for data validation.  Exposure to automation concepts.
