Role Summary

We are seeking a passionate Lead SQA Automation Engineer - Python Expert (Familiar working as a Software Development Engineer in Test) to directly work with our international clients in North America and Europe.

As a Lead SQA Automation Engineer, you will write efficient, maintainable, and reusable code while utilizing testing frameworks for automated tests, focusing on both functional and non-functional aspects of software testing. Further, you'll work closely with cross-functional teams to enhance the testing infrastructure and drive continuous improvement in our software development process.

Required Skills:

• 5+ years of work experience in the software testing domain of which 3 years in Test Automation.
• Fluent in English speaking and writing.
• Strong knowledge of languages like Python (Mandatory) & JavaScript (Good to have).
• Intermediate-level programming skills who can solve Data structure problems like - (Array, String, Linked list, Search, Sort, etc.) For Automation.
• Proficiency in algorithms, data structures, and problem-solving techniques.
• Design, execute, document, and create test-plan of WEB, MOBILE & API test cases.
• Familiarity with development environments, debugging tools, and testing frameworks (eg. Selenium, Appium, Postman, JMeter, CI/CD tools-Jenkins, GitHub).

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with competitive coding platforms such as LeetCode/Codeforces/ HackerRank, or similar (high rankings or active participation preferred).
• Experience working with version control systems like Git.
• Contributed to open-source software testing library or framework.
• Built automation testing framework from scratch using Python & JavaScript popular libraries.
• Knowledge of Database queries (SQL, MySQL, Oracle, MongoDB, etc)

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Computer Science & Engineering.
• Fluent in English speaking and writing.
• Demonstrated experience solving problems with time and space complexity in mind. Familiarity with system design, API integration, and database optimization.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud) or DevOps practices.
• Exposure to Agile methodologies and team-based software development processes.General Requirements:

• Experience in collaborate with other teams & stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and handle complex tasks with minimal supervision.
• Attention to detail and a focus on writing clean, maintainable code.
• Excellent communication skills for collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Eagerness to learn and stay updated on the latest coding challenges and technologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in working under pressure & quick deadlines.

Type: Full Time (Permanent)

Location: Presently we are 100% virtual (Working from home) and we will convert to a hybrid work arrangement in the future (Office in Dhaka, Bangladesh).

Number of positions: Multiple.

Work hours: 8 hours/day, 5 days/week (Either Sunday to Thursday or, Monday to Friday) based on project/assignment.
