Responsibilities & Context

We are hiring a Junior Software Quality Assurance Engineer to test our iOS and Android mobile applications and Web platforms. We’re looking for someone SMART, a quick learner, and truly dedicated. Job Responsibilities:

• Perform manual testing especially and also perform automated testing of iOS/ Android Apps and the Web.
• Documentation of software defects, using a bug tracking system and reporting defects to software developers using JIRA.
• Preparation of test cases and implementation of all cross-platform test suites.
• Research and analyze product features being tested.
• Implement new tools, technologies, and testing processes as per industry standards.
• Review user interfaces for consistency and functionality.
• Perform and document risk analysis and test cases.
• Identify, isolate, and track bugs throughout testing.
• Identify any potential problems that users might encounter.
• Monitor bug resolution efforts and track successes.
• Ensure technical accuracy, compliance, or completeness to mitigate risks.
• Provide the QA Lead with accurate and precise estimates for test automation activities, along with confidence levels and foreseeable dependencies.
