Job Title: Associate Software Quality Assurance (SQA) Engineer

Role Overview:

As an Associate SQA Engineer at Gotipath, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. You’ll work closely with our development team to design, implement, and execute test plans and test cases. Your work will directly contribute to the continuous improvement of our products and services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the software development team to understand product specifications and features.
• Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases to ensure product quality.
• Identify documents and track bugs and issues through to resolution.
• Participate in product design reviews to provide input on functional requirements, product designs, schedules, or potential problems.
• Provide feedback and recommendations to developers on software usability and functionality.
• Understand project requirements, and technology dependencies, and develop solutions for test planning and execution;
• Plan & Develop Automated Testing for Web, Android, IOS Applications.
• Plan & Develop Automated Testing for APIs;
• Incorporate testing as part of our build pipeline CI/CD flows;
• Plan, build, and design new automation to support new builds and release of the code;
• Collaborate with the team to continuously refactor and improve the automation framework for reusability and speed;
• Develop complex data-driven automation, manage automation scripts and framework to support code drops in various environments to support development, test, and builds;
• Assist developers and testers with root cause analysis and resolutions;
• Create and maintain detailed test documentation, including test cases, scripts, data, and results.
• Participate in project planning, client communication and scoping activities and work independently and efficiently to meet agreed-upon deadlines;

What makes you a great fit:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 1.5 years of experience in software quality assurance.
• Familiarity with software QA tools and processes, including writing test plans and test cases.
• Knowledge of OOP, SOLID
• Basic knowledge of programming languages (e.g. Javascript, PHP, Golang, Dart).
• Experience writing automated test scripts using Cypress
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities.
